Experiencing mental ill-health in pregnancy and parenthood can be lonely and isolating. Many parents find it difficult to recognise and talk about. They fear judgement from others and may not fully understand the illness or know how to express what they feel or need. Speaking to and listening to how other parents have coped going through similar experiences, and how they manage their thoughts and feelings can really aid recovery.
