I Am Found.
Give Hope this Christmas.

The words in our I Am Found campaign come directly from people who attend AWARE NI support groups. Explore what finding support has meant to them.

Christmas is often described as a time of joy and togetherness. But for people experiencing depression, anxiety or loneliness, it can also be a difficult time of year.

When everything around you feels overwhelming, having somewhere to turn can make a real difference.

Your donation could help someone find hope, connection, and support this Christmas.

Everyone deserves somewhere to turn.

AWARE NI provides free, peer-led mental health support groups for people across Northern Ireland.

Whether you give £5, £15 or whatever you can afford, your donation helps people access support when they need it.

Your support helps us keep these groups accessible to everyone with:

✅  No cost to attend.

✅  No GP referral needed.

✅  No waiting lists.

✅ No limit on how long you attend.

Every donation lights up our I Am Found Christmas tree.

You can also leave a personal message or dedicate a light in tribute to someone special.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

This December, pull on your favourite Christmas jumper and help more people find support!

Jordan's story is just one example of the difference that support can make. Across NI, people turn to AWARE NI to find hope, understanding, friendship and relief.

This Christmas, host your own Christmas Jumper Day and bring colleagues, friends or family together to raise funds so more people can access free mental health support when they need it most.

Every donation makes a difference. 💛

Jordan's Story 💛

Jordan, 26, from Newcastle, Co. Down, was diagnosed with depression at 18 following years of struggling with his mental health after losing his dad at the age of 13.

In 2018, he spotted a poster for his local AWARE NI Mental Health Support Group at his gym. Although he found it difficult to speak at his first meeting, he returned the following week and began connecting with people who understood what he was going through.

For Jordan, the group became a safe space where he could talk openly, share his experiences and feel less alone. Today, he says his life feels steadier and he's better equipped to cope with difficult days.

Reflecting on the difference AWARE NI has made, Jordan said:

"I don't know where I'd be without AWARE and the support group. To be honest, without them, I might not be here today."

This Christmas, your support can help ensure more people like Jordan find a safe space, connection and the support they need. 💛
