AWARE Mood Walks podcast!
Last year hundreds of people took part in AWARE Mood Walks across Northern Ireland raising over £30,000 to help people affected by depression and to help educate more and more people about mental illness.
Now the AWARE Mood Walks are back for 2016! To get you in the Mood and give you a flavour of last year's walks have a listen to our podcast featuring participants from last year, including our Board member Lynda Bryans:
There are four AWARE Mood Walks taking place across Northern Ireland:
Belfast | Mary Peter’s Track | Friday, June 17, 2016
L’derry | Ebrington Square | Friday, June 24, 2016
Omagh | Omagh Leisure Centre | Sunday, October 2, 2016
Portstewart | Coastal Path | September 2016 (Date TBC)
You can register online here:
Once registered we will send you your Mood Walk pack, which includes your Mood Walk t-shirt! The money raised will be used to help people affected by depression across Northern Ireland and to educate people about mental health and depression. Every step you take on your Mood Walk will help stamp out the stigma associated with mental illness - you will be making a real and positive difference to the lives of people affected by depression.
