Leading hairdressers Peter Mark supporting AWARE
We are very excited to be part of the latest fundraising initiative from leading hairdressers Peter Mark. The 'Petermarkathon' will be happening during October 23 - October 26th.
Peter Mark salons in both Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland will be fundraising for the the AWARE Mood Matters initiative in the North of Ireland and the Beat the Blues programme in the South of Ireland for Aware.
The Mood Matters programme is delivered into post-primary schools and gives 14-18 year olds the knowledge and skills which they can use to maintain good mental health and build resilience in order to better deal with problems and challenges in life. It also provides them with details of services where they can go if they require support and help at any stage of their life.
The Beat the Blues programme is a similar programme delivered to senior-cycle students in secondary schools throughout Southern Ireland by our partner organisation in the South, Aware.
