AWARE announce new partnership with Foyle Food Group
Family-owned business with over 40 years of expertise in beef supply chain and processing, Foyle Food Group has chosen AWARE as its newest charity partner.
CEO at Foyle Food Group, Terry Acheson, said:
"At Foyle Food Group, we wanted to make people more aware of the support available by local charities. We wanted to work with an organisation with a real impact within our local community. Through our partnership with AWARE, we hope to help them continue their vital work and offer support to anyone who needs it. Depression can affect every single person, and the Coronavirus pandemic has put extra pressure on people's mental health. We wanted to work with AWARE to help raise funds to provide this vital support within our community to those who need it.
We are also pleased to be taking part in their training sessions and workshops to help support our employees' well-being and provide our staff with the skills to help support anyone within our workplace or in our community that needs help. We would encourage others to take advantage of the workshops that AWARE offer."
Corporate Relationship Officer at AWARE, Bridie Kelly, added:
"We are truly delighted to have been chosen as Foyle Food Group's newest charity partner. Over the last two years, we have seen a staggering increase in demand for our services – therefore, their support will help us ensure we can continue to be there for local people who need it most. We look forward to working together over the next year to raise vital funds and awareness for mental health services here in Northern Ireland."
