If you are part of a sports club or organisation in Northern Ireland and think your club would be interested in a free mental health and well-being programme, please contact us today.
As part of an initiative from Sport NI funded by the Public Health Agency, Aware Defeat Depression are delivering their Mood Matters for Adults programme free to any sports club in Northern Ireland (limited spaces available)
The Mental Health Awareness training sessions are perfect for coaches, committee members, senior players and volunteers with a pastoral role. Breaking down the stigma and raising awareness of mental health issues, is a vital part of sports club and group management.
The training session last 3 hours and can be delivered at your club or community centre or local hall and arranged with the training provider on a date which suits your club.
Those clubs and groups hosting the training on their own premises for their members and supporters, will also receive a Minding Your Head toolkit including training cones, bibs, banners and water bottles.
