The emotional well-being of children is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health allows children and young people to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them and grow into well-rounded, healthy adults.
As we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week during May, AWARE would like to encourage children to get involved too by showing us how you (or they) are coping with the many changes that seemed to happen overnight due to COVID-19 and the need to stay home and stay safe.
We would love for children to give us a glimpse into their day to day lives showing us 'what matters most' to them. They could also show us what types of things are they doing and who are they doing it with.
