Join AWARE on Saturday 9th October 2021 and take on Slieve Donard to mark World Mental Health Day!
Slieve Donard is the highest peak of the Mourne Mountains, a whopping 2789ft to be exact! The views from the summit are extraordinary and on a clear day, the Isle of Man, Wicklow, Donegal, Wales, and Scotland may be seen, as well as the long stretch of Newcastle Beach. The AWARE Slieve Donard Trek event is managed by LIFE mountain experts and guides who will be on hand to ensure this is a safe and enjoyable walk up Slieve Donard.

Plan for the day: Registration starts at 8.30 am, once registered you will receive a health and safety briefing before the ascent. LIFE marshals will be on the route for guidance, support, and first aid assistance.
Registration is £20 per person with a minimum sponsorship of £80. Once registered, you will receive a fundraising pack including a sponsorship form. Funds raised will go to support those in Northern Ireland with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
